Family Ministries

At Lighthouse Preparatory Academy, “Family Ministries” isn’t a separate program but the core philosophy of strengthening families by partnering with parents to raise disciples for Christ. As the Dean of Family Ministries, we strive to integrate faith into the academic experience by providing biblical resources, encouraging parent involvement and reinforcing Christian values that develop our students’ character and faith. The overall goal of FM is to support and provide resources to families in their primary responsibility of training up their children in spiritual and educational teaching that encompasses a biblical worldview.

Family Ministries encourages staff and student leaders to permeate this worldview in everything LPA; through curriculum, chapel, small-group, extracurricular events and school sports.

In essence, Family Ministries at Lighthouse Preparatory Academy is about collaboration, spiritual formation, and reinforcing Christian values within the family context to achieve academic excellence and spiritual maturity in students.
