The Lighthouse Educational Adventure Program is designed to build community among students, help them learn about the outdoors and other adventure programs, push them to try new things, give them servant and leadership opportunities and learn about themselves as they face difficult and challenging situations. Some of the “adventure” could include but isn’t limited to events such as the polar plunge, amazing race, weekend camp out, 5K runs, archery, Katy Trail biking and learning to have a prevailing mindset.  High school students that would like to earn a 1/2 credit will need to participate in 4 leap events and the campout at the end of the year.  Students can participate for up to 2 years to earn 1 credit.  Leap events are always open to the entire family.
